
Sensor modules which are used for sensing purposes are fixed at a particular part of an industry. At present, in industries sensing and monitoring systems are present, but they have a lot of disadvantages or drawbacks which are of major concern. Now a days the major safety problem faced by the Petrochemical or Nuclear Power plant Industry is that they lack precise and accurate sensing and monitoring of industrial environment parameters from any part of the industry.

The research includes a variety of engineering and scientific aspects of robotics. The field of multi robot systems is now a large well established area of research that reached a high level of Multi robots may achieve both more robust and more effective behaviour by accomplishing coordinated tasks that are not possible for single robots.

The multi- robot system can be defined as a robot group in which the robots can communicate with others and can cooperatively implement different kinds of tasks. Furthermore,the field of distributed artificial intelligence was also in great development. In the early to mid -1990s,there was abloom of multi robot systems inspired by the overall intelligent behaviour of large biological insect communities such as ants. Industrial applications included multi robots,but in a preprogrammed sense of replication. Until the early 1990s,mobile robotics focused mainly on the challenges of developing a single robot capable of robustly handling the physical environment. The research area of Multi robot systems consists of the study of algorithms for perception, cognition and actuation of systems composed of multiple robots. Keywords- Multi Robot Critically controlled LabVIEW Virtual Representation Zigbee IEEE 802.15.4 wireless transceiver is used for data communication and the hardware section interfacing with the LabVIEW is done through Virtual Instrumentation System Architecture(VISA). A microcontroller, PIC16F877A is used to control the robots. These robots can sense the obstructions in the path and avoid them to facilitate smooth voyage. Necessary control signals are also generated and sent back to the robots using LabVIEW. Data communication takes place through Zigbee wireless communication. Virtual Representation of the industrial environment parameters can be achieved using LabVIEW.

The data processing and analyzing is performed by a System design application software called LabVIEW. The data acquired through robots are send to a central station where further processing and analyzing of acquired data is done. The vital parameters taken from the critical environment in this application are temperature and flammable gas presence.
